Deep Thoughts...

Hey there!
For my first post I thought I would talk of something very thought provoking.
If you were driving in a car and you threw something up in the air, why doesn't it shoot backwards cause the car is moving? Like if you were standing up in a bus and you jumped, you would land in the same place even though the bus is, in theory, moving under you.
Throw something OUT of a moving car and it will fly backwards.
Curiouser and curiouser...

  1. The air resistance outside fights the object thrown OUT. Inside the closed bus, the air is moving at the same rate, so not slowing down people inside nearly as mucg
